Photographs 6. Pictured left is the original memorial stone that for many years marked the spot where Seamus Ludlow's body was found. This stone was replaced by the Ludlow family after the RUC's February 1998 arrest of four Loyalists in connection with this murder and revelations of a cross-border cover-up, involving the Gardai and the RUC, that had protected the long identified killers for more than twenty years. The simple inscription reads: In Loving Memory of Seamus Ludlow Died 2nd May 1976 R.I.P.
