The Dundalk Democrat, 23 February 2002: Meeting with Attorney General Relatives of the late Seamus Ludlow are to meet with the Attorney General, Michael McDowell SC, this evening (Thursday) in Dublin. Representing the Ludlow family will be Solicitor, James MacGuill, along with Seamus' brother Kevin, and nephews Jimmy Sharkey, Michael Donegan and Brendan Larkin. Jane Winter of British Irish Rights Watch has also made the journey from England to attend. The request for the meeting is understood to have come from the Department of the Taoiseach.
