The Irish News, 5 July 2006: Relatives 'furious' over Barron report blunder By Valerie Robinson Relatives of those killed in loyalist bombings in the Republic are furious after being given just 24 hours' notice of the publication of a report into the attacks. Mr Justice Henry Barron's final report into bombings during the 1970s will be published by the Republic's government today. Relatives group Justice for the Forgotten accused the government of a 'total mess-up' after they were initially given the wrong publication date for the report. Spokeswoman Margaret Urwin said she received a phone call yesterday afternoon from the taoiseach's office telling her the Barron report would be made public tomorrow. Just hours later she received a second call from an Oireachtas committee confirming the document would be published at 5pm today. In the final strand of his investigations, Mr Justice Barron examined bomb attacks in Dundalk, Silverbridge and Dublin Airport in 1975, Dundalk and Castleblayney in 1976 and the 1975 Miami Showband massacre.
